This Saturday, December 13th from 8am to 12pm at the Ben Avery Shotgun Range, Troop 818 will have their annual Shotgun Shooting Outing.  Due to a large competition at the range this year, we will be shooting at a specially designed area that has 2 throwers and can accommodate 4 Scouts each per Hour.  We are doing a sign up for time slots, so please register online at www.SignUpGenius.com/go/70A0B4FA4AF238-benavery.

Everything will be included (range fees, shotguns and 25 rounds of ammo) for the cost of $15.00.  Please bring our Troop Permission Slip with you.  If you have your own Shotgun you are welcome to bring it and the Range Master (Mark Moran) can examine and approve it use.  Otherwise, 12 and 20 gauge shotguns will be available for use.

This is appropriate all skill levels from new and to experienced Shooters.  A NRA and BSA trained Shotgun Instructor will be present and will assist the Scouts.  This is a great opportunity to learn gun safety and experience shotgun shooting in a safe environment.

We will be tracking scores and will announce the best Scout shooter by Age, Scout Rank and also the best Patrol results.

No transportation is provided since we are using time slots, so please coordinate driving with fellow Scouts.

The Shotgun Range (also called the Clay Target Center) at Ben Avery is located west of their main entrance, driving instructions are online at http://www.azgfd.gov/ctc2/index_new.shtml.

See you this Saturday, it is going to be a lot of fun.  Be sure to sign up at: www.SignUpGenius.com/go/70A0B4FA4AF238-benavery and represent your Patrol.
