Attention all Arrow of Light scouts that are planning on attending troop 818s Mountain Man recruitment outing: You are our guests; no outing fee is required and if you want to, bringing a friend interested in scouting is highly appreciated.
Wear full field uniform (class A)plan to arrive at 9:00AM Saturday the 27th .Bring a large water
bottle and stay hydrated, drink, drink, and drink some more! Use sunscreen and wear a
hat. Hamburger lunch will be served to all guests, Mountain Man activities should wrap
up around 4:00PM. Your welcome to stay for evening activities and camp out. All
Arrow of Light scouts must be accompanied by, and camp with, a parent or legal guardian.
Troop 818 Scouts– Outing fee is $20. Fires are allowed, the campsite has bathrooms
and potable water for drinking. Bring a sack dinner Friday night, hamburger lunch.
Saturday is provided by the Troop. Patrols should meal plan for (2) breakfasts. Patrols
should plan and prepare a dessert following Saturday dinner for the Iron Chef
Competition.
PS: Bring closed toed shoes, water, and your class A.
Don’t bring the following:
- fire starters
- flammable aerosol (febreze, AXE body spray, etc. sunscreen is excluded)
- electronics (leave them in your guardian’s car)
- Stealth knife
- Any valuables that you don’t want to get lost
- Any guns or weapons
