BECOME A GREAT LEADER! Leadership skills are highly sought after qualities and are essential for all young men and their future success. The BSA has many opportunities to learn and practice these leadership skills and in August you will have your chance with Troop 818. You will start to build skills around communication, servant leadership, communication, team development and more.
The weekend of August 23rd – 25th, Troop 818 will be doing our annual Boy Scout Introduction to Leadership Skills course at Camp R-C outside of Payson. This retreat is open to all Scouts and those scouts already in leadership roles, we encourage you to find ways to help train up new leaders in the troop. Plus, the adults will handle all the meal planning, cooking and cleanup the whole weekend.
BONUS – we will also be planning our 2025 outings calendar. So, if you have ideas and would like to have input into organizing these fun activities please plan on attending. If you are unable to make it, please share your ideas with your troop leaders (SPL, ASPL, etc.)
