| Hi Scouts, September’s outing is sailing at Lake Pleasant and is planned for September 16th-18th. We will learn about sailing and sailboats and will get to sail on two 37-foot chartered sailboats. I’ve been told that they like to race them, and we may even get the chance to go swimming while out on the boats. We will also have access to a swimming pool next to Lake Pleasant. We have this activity planned with Mr. John Riddell who runs the Sea Scout Ship program under the non-profit Maricopa Youth Mariners. We need to have a confirmed head count on this outing by 9/6 so that the final payment can be made. Please follow the signup genius below to sign up by Tuesday, 9/6/22. Cost: $50 for sailing (lifejackets will be available for all), campsite, pool gate access, and gas. Please pay via Venmo, Scout account, or cash/check at the next meeting. We cannot provide refunds since the Troop will be paying for this outing in advance.
