Depart from St Bernadette’s Church.  Drive to Pinetop (176 miles); arrive around 8:00 pm
Go to Snowriders Board and Ski Shop at 857 East White Mountain Blvd (928)367-5638
Try on and rent ski helmets
Eat dinner – fast food (Subway, KFC, McDonalds, Safeway)
Scouts should bring a bag dinner or cash
Push on to Greer Peaks Resort at One Main Street, Greer (46 miles)

Saturday, February 24 SKI Day!!
Wake up early 5:45 am
            Breakfast at Lodge (included in Outing fee)
Load up and travel to Sunrise Ski Resort by 8:00 am
Rent skis/poles/boards
Show all Scouts wait area for Adults & Scouts in Main Lodge
Get on the slopes
Every Scout needs to have a Buddy at ALL times – No Exceptions
First time skiers/boarders will be provided an overview
Skiers:  Cal Carlson
Boarders:  Shian Weersinghe
Snow Sports Merit Badge:  Kent O’Donnell
Scouts need to bring a lunch or cash
Go back to Greer Peaks Resort in same cars – Drivers need to check in that car is full and they are leaving with Lori/Kent
Dinner at Greer Peaks Resort (included in Outing fee)
Games/Movies

Sunday, February 25
Wake up
Breakfast at Lodge (included in Outing fee)
Return helmets in Pinetop by 9:00 am – Cal Carlson
Lunch stop – Scouts should have cash or snacks
Drive back to Phoenix; arrive at St. Bernadette’s around 1:00-2:00pm

Scouts to remember to pack:

  1. Sleeping bag, pad, and pillow
  2. Bathroom items and towel for shower
  3. Warm clothes and ski clothes
  4. Water bottle and snacks

Costs for lodging, Sat & Sun breakfast, Sat dinner, ski/board rental, helmet rental and gas = $175 per person (All IN Costs)
Costs for Driver/Non Skier = $80 per person
If Skier/Boarder brings own helmet = ($10) Ten dollars less
If Skier/Boarder brings own skis/board = ($30) Thirty dollars less
