This is a must see attraction for those of you that haven’t (and even if you have!). We’ll be experiencing the Throne Room Tour. The tour is unique in that the cave is still “alive”. This means it’s actively growing and not dry and dormant. It really is an amazing experience to take the tour and be immersed in the feel of living natural history. The story of discovery by two college explorers and their long kept secret is also fascinating. It’s fun to imagine yourself in their (muddy) shoes.

We’ll be camping in a group site right at the park, There is access to restrooms and hiking trails. If the weather holds out, we’d generally be in the 70’s during the day and 40’s at night.
